Salome Meladze serves as a paralegal at BGI Legal. Her responsibilities include undertaking of the legal work delegated by the lawyers such as researching legal issues, translating legal documents and conducting due diligence studies. Salome organizes and tracks files for all important case documents and makes them available and easily accessible by the attorneys.
Prior to joining the firm, Salome served as a paralegal at LPA LLC, where she was involved in researching and preparing reports in domestic and international law issues, drafting legal documents and advising clients in commercial, administrative, labor, real estate and intellectual property law. Her professional experience also includes working at the Human Rights Center of the Supreme Court, where she prepared analysis of ECHRs court cases.
During her college years Salome successfully participated in different international moot court competitions, including the Central and Eastern European Moot Court Competition (Warsaw, Poland) and the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition (Washington DC, USA). Salome is also a finalist of the International Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition organized by the Red Cross (Kakheti, Georgia).
As well as her native Georgian, Salome is fluent in English and Russian.
